Business Skills migration visa options

The business migration program aims to attract people with a demonstrated record of business or investment activity who wish to use their skills in Tasmania. To apply for migration under the business skills category you need to meet the requirements of one visa subclass.

Even if you qualify for an independent business skills visa, you are encouraged to explore state visa nomination options prior to lodging an application.

Independent visa pathway

The independent visa pathway is for people who wish to migrate without the aid of visa nomination from a state or territory. Requirements for the independent pathway are more stringent than those for the sponsored pathway.
