How to apply
In order to apply for Tasmanian General Skilled Migration category visa nomination, follow these steps:

Check your eligibility against DIAC basic requirements before applying for state visa nomination. Information on specific visa requirements is available on the DIAC website.

Complete and return the General Skilled Migration Visa Nomination form (available via the link below), along with the following supplementary information:
- a copy of your positive skills assessment from your occupations relevant assessing authority
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test results (where applicable)
- your current CV (maximum four pages)
- evidence of job offer or positive comments from at least one Tasmanian employer
- if you are a recent university graduate you must also provide a copy of your university transcript.
Once completed, application forms and the requested attachments are to be submitted here. You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received. Please do not send any documentation that is not requested; additional information will, if required, be requested via email. The average processing time for applications is four weeks however some cases may take longer due to individual case complexity.
There is no fee for Tasmanian state visa nomination.
