Skilled Regional Sponsored Visa (Subclass 475)
This is a three (3) year provisional visa that allows the visa holder to live and work in regional Australia (Tasmania qualifies as regional Australia in this case). To qualify for this visa, you must have good English language skills and have skills and qualifications in an occupation in the Tasmanian State Migration Plan Occupation List. This visa provides a pathway to permanent residency through the Subclass 887 visa after you have lived for two years and worked at least 12 months in Tasmania.
