Skilled Regional Sponsored Visa (Subclass 487)

For applicants who studied in mainland Australia

This is a three (3) year provisional visa that allows the visa holder to work in regional Australia (Tasmania qualifies as regional Australia in this case). This visa provides a pathway to permanent residency through the Subclass 887 visa after you have lived for two years and worked at least 12 months in Tasmania.
