“Tasmania may not have a big city like Melbourne or Sydney, but it offers great lifestyle and living environment and opportunities for the people with the right skillsets.”

Shu is currently living in Burnie Tasmania working for Hydro Tasmania as a Business Analyst. North West Tasmania allows Shu the opportunity to explore rugged coastlines, ancient rainforests, tranquil rivers and mysterious caves. She moved to Tasmania in 2016 for the purpose of work and never looked back. Originally from Taiwan, Shu likes the environment and lifestyle in Tasmania.

Shu values the community feeling in North West Tasmania and when she is not busy volunteering, she likes photographing and capturing the beauty of Tasmania through her lens.

“In winter I love a bonfire in my back yard, celebrating with my friends. In summer, I enjoy walks on the beach or a picnic in one of the many parks, spending wonderful time with my friends and their families. I am always fascinated by the breathtaking views, fresh air, delicious food and many seasonal events in Tasmania.”

Shu has studied Mathematics in Australia and is currently working in an area related to her degree. She likes the work life balance in Tasmania and encourages migrants to come to Tasmania to live a beautiful life and develop their career.
