Vinh studied a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tasmania (UTAS). He and his partner chose Tasmania to learn new things, explore new environments and pursue permanent residency.

Vinh is currently working as a Project Engineer at Downer Group and is based in Hobart. While studying at the university, Vinh secured an opportunity to work for Nyrstar as a Vacation Student which provided him practical experience in his field. After successfully completing his study at UTAS, he secured a skilled position at Downer Group and is currently working on a range of important projects.

Vinh and his partner like nature and the communities in Tasmania. They found the people in Tasmania friendly and approachable.

Vinh considers Tasmania to be one of the regions with the most potential in Australia. Vinh believes that Tasmania has many job opportunities, but it is important to network with people to learn about those opportunities.
