You must attach the following documents to the RCB application:

Annual Market Salary Rate (AMSR) statement

Attach an AMSR statement outlining the method used to determine the AMSR. You must show that the nominated salary is at least the same as the market salary rate by including the following information with the application:

  • where there is an equivalent worker (someone else already performing the same work at the same pay grade):
    • the name of the agreement or award as recorded by the Fair Work Commission, where applicable. The salary level or occupation group that applies to the nomination from the corresponding award must also be included
    • a comparison of the duties, number of hours worked and level of experience of the current employee and the nominee to show that the salary and other terms are comparable
    • if there is no relevant agreement or award, or you are paying your Australian employees above the award rate, provide copies of relevant employment contracts and pay slips for this employee.
  • where there is no equivalent worker, agreement or award:
    • provide at least two of the following:
      • salary reports or remuneration surveys from a reputable organisation (for example, Australian Bureau of Statistics, Jobs and Skills Australia Occupation and Industry Profiles)
      • information from unions or employer associations in Tasmania
      • advertisements placed in the last six months for similar positions by other Tasmanian employers.

Employment contract (fully signed and dated). Must meet the National Employment Standards. Please refer to the Fair Work Ombudsman website for information and resources on employment contract templates and industry awards.

Nominee details (the person being considered for the position). Include the following:

  • curriculum Vitae / resume - this must include the nominee’s personal details and show all relevant training and qualifications as well as relevant work experience
  • a copy of the nominee’s passport bio page.

Form 956 if using a migration agent to lodge the application.
