Until this time interim program restrictions remain in place.

Skilled migrants
If you are a prospective skilled migrant who wishes to settle in Tasmania, the Department of State Growth can sponsor your visa application through the skilled sponsored visa and skilled regional sponsored visa.

Business migrants
The Business Innovation and Investment program aims to attract people with a demonstrated record of business or investment activity who wish to use their skills in Tasmania.

Sponsoring employers
Employers can sponsor English-speaking skilled workers from overseas to fill vacancies that require formal qualification and cannot be filled easily from within the Australian labour market.
